Cleveland State's women's volleyball continued their early success this past weekend, where they traveled to Rossville, GA to participate in the Georgia Northwestern Technical College Tournament. The Lady Cougars dominated the field, going 4-0, winning the tournament and moving their overall season record to 5-0.
The Lady Cougars started off strong, defeating Crown College in their first match with a score of *25-11, 26-24. Next up, CSCC took on Hiwassee College for the second time this season, winning that match, 25-15, 25-22. The Lady Cougars kept moving forward, adding to another win to their record with a victory against Welch College with a score 25-21, 25-21. Finally, Cleveland State won the tournament with a win against Georgia Northwestern Technical College with a final score of 25-15, 25-22.
Next on their plate, the red hot Lady Cougars will travel to Centre, Alabama to take on Gadsden State Community College on Wednesday, August 30th at 5:00PM CST/6:00EST.
