Cleveland State defeated Webster University with a score of 3 sets to 1 on Wednesday night, their final home match of the season. This moves the Lady Cougars to a 15-5 record with one more match to play in the regular season. They'll face Bryan College next, a road match that will wrap the regular season before the Lady Cougars take on Walters State in a playoff for the Regional Tournament.
Head Coach Randy Evans commented, "What a way to finish our last home game! We played with energy, unity and a "refuse to lose" mindset. The crowd was amazing and the support shown by the CSCC men's basketball players really created an atmosphere we could thrive off of at home. It was a fun game and a great way to wrap up our home matches."
