Lady Cougars Drop Match to Snead State, 0-3

Cleveland State Community College's women's volleyball team lost to Snead State in straight sets on Wednesday night. It was a match on the road for the Lady Cougars and they put in a valiant effort in what was a close affair.

It was a back and forth game for both teams as the Lady Cougars at most only lost by a margin of eight points in all three sets. Set one went to Snead State as they defeated the Lady Cougars 25-23. The second and third sets both saw scores of 25-17, each one going to Snead State's side.

Currently, the Lady Cougars' season stats are 6.50 kills per set, a .122% hitting percentage, 4.63 assists per set, 2.47 blocks per set and 14.50 digs per set.

The loss puts the Lady Cougars record at 5-4 on the season. Their next three games will consist of two home matches against Chattanooga State Community College and Bryan College. In between those two games the Lady Cougars will face Crown College on the road.`
