Cougars Defeated by Motlow State, 77-72

Cleveland State Community College's men's basketball team returned home for a matchup against Motlow State on Friday evening, losing the affair by a score of 77-72.

Leading the Cougars was Delaino Walker who scored 17 points on the night. Maurice Dickson and Jonathon King each had a nice game, both scoring 13 points. Collin Herron had a nice game from the three-point line, totaling 9 points for the Cougars.

It was a close game between the two squads as Motlow escaped with the victory by only five points. Cleveland State played hard, showcasing great ball movement and communication. The Cougars would not back down, bringing the game within a single point with 13 seconds to go in the second half but unfortunately could not overcome Motlow's lead.

The loss puts the Cougars at 3-8 on the season, and they'll look to get back into the win column on Saturday, December 8th against Volunteer State Community College at 2:00 PM EST.
