Cleveland State Community College's women's volleyball team has signed Sydney Allen to the 2019 roster. A graduate of Volunteer High School, Allen is prepared to compete at Cleveland State.
"I'm very excited to get to continue my volleyball career," said Allen. "It's been a dream of mine since I was in elementary school and a young age. It's a blessing to be able to continue. It's exciting!"
Head Coach Alizabeth Atnip spoke about her new signee, saying, "First thing I saw was her passion and her heart. She obviously cares so much about continuing not only her play, but her education. That's what I wanted from the first recruits I've had. I wanted the heart and soul of the team. She is definitely one of those that I'm going to look to be that fire."
