Alizabeth Atnip Named Women's Volleyball Head Coach

Cleveland State Community College's Women's Volleyball team has named Alizabeth Atnip their new head coach.

Alizabeth was the assistant coach for the Lady Cougars for the previous two seasons. She also was a collegiate volleyball player for Alma College in Alma, Michigan. Alizabeth also gains experience from her coaching at the middle, high, and club levels.

Alizabeth commented, "I am very excited about this opportunity! Being a part of Cleveland State Volleyball from the very beginning, I am proud to continue strengthening and growing the program. Being the assistant the last two seasons, I've had the opportunity to learn a lot and am ready for 2019!"

She continued, "This new role, at the collegiate level, continues to teach me new things as a coach and as a volleyball fanatic as well. Each year I learn more from the coaches around me and from the athletes I work with. I look forward to recruiting a large freshman class that demonstrates the passion and the willingness to learn that I have."

Cleveland State looks forward to seeing the accomplishments Alizabeth can achieve with the Lady Cougars.
