XC Completes 5K For Charity Saturday

The Cross Country teams left the intensity of collegiate competition behind to run together for a different common goal: curing Cystic Fibrosis.

Both the men's and women's Cougar runners and head coach David Kyle ran the 65 Roses 5K on Saturday, Mar. 30. The race, which is hosted by Lee University and runs through downtown Cleveland, Tenn., raises money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Last year, the race alone raised $1 million for the charity.
