Four-Year/Professional Cougar Updates

Here are your updates from last week on former Cougar athletes playing for four-year schools or in the Minor Leagues.

Noah Hill ('18) is tearing the cover off of the baseball for the East Tenn. Bucs. According to ETSU Baseball's Twitter account, Hill is currently in the midst of an 11 game hitting streak and a 24 game reached base streak, both of which are tops on the team this season. In the Bucs last four games, Hill is batting 5-for-16 (.313) with 3 RBI. ETSU will open their Southern Conference Tournament on Wed.

Devon Gardner ('18) is also on a solid hit streak of five for the Belmont Bruins. In their five games last week, he went 6-for-20 (.300) with an RBI. The Bruins will also compete in their conference tournament starting on Wednesday, playing OVC rival Murray State.

Joey Robertson ('18)'s Savannah State squad concluded their season in the MEAC conference tournament on Thurs. (May 16). Robertson finished first on the team in RBI with 28, first in walks with 33, and second in batting average with a .287 mark.

In the Minor Leagues, Ryan Casteel has also put together a nice string of games. He has a nine-game hitting streak going for the Mississippi Braves, going 9-for-29 (.310) with an RBI in their eight games last week.
