Burger Boys Tie Series at 1 Game a Piece

The Cleveland State baseball intrasquad World Series is now tied at one game.

Yesterday the Burger Boys took a 5-1 victory over Brock's Bombers.

A. Kribbs pitched five innings allowing one run on two hits while striking out ten and walking two earning the victory. B. Denton finished the final two innings allowing one hit and no runs.

Offensively Cannon Stafford led the charge going 2-4 driving in a run and scoring another. On a side note Stafford recently committed to West Georgia University to continue his collegiate baseball career.

Leadoff batter K. Collins also went 2-4 scoring two runs with clean up batter N. Iezzi joining him with a 2-4 day doubling once with one RBI and crossing the plate one time.

The Burger Boys had a tough time at the plate, but H. Garret did put together a 2-3 day driving in one run.

Game three of the seven game series is slated to start this afternoon at 12:30 p.m.
