PREVIEW: Baseball Travels to Gordon State College For Three-Game Set

The Cougars' baseball team will travel to Barnesville, GA on Thursday and Friday to face the Highlanders of Gordon State College in a three-game series. Friday's matchup will get underway at 2:00 ET, and Saturday the Cougars will play a two-game slate at 12:00 ET and 3:00 ET.

Both teams will look to bounce back after losses in their last games. Cleveland State is seeking their first win of the season after falling 6-3 to Georgia Highlands College on Tuesday, while Gordon State currently sits at 2-2 on their young season after losing 3-2 to St. John's River College last Sunday.

The Cougars will have to be careful when facing Gordon State IF Sam Kuchinski. He has posted a hot start to his season, batting .545 (6-for-11) with five RBI and two doubles.

Cleveland State will hope to have better success than last year against the Highlanders. They went 1-2 in their three meetings against Gordon State in 2018.
