Baseball will take a brief recess from their conference schedule to take on Piedmont College's JV team on their home turf Monday at 2:00 ET.
The Cougars have continued to stay hot. They will enter this game with the confidence of sweeping conference rival Columbia State 3-0 over the weekend. In that series, their offense could not be contained as they scored 39 runs. Their 7-3 record over the last 10 games has propelled them to third in the conference.
The Lions and Cleveland State split their series 1-1 when the two teams met in Demorest on March 26. After this series, the Cougars will continue their home stand as the TCCAA's top team Walters State will visit this weekend. Friday's game will start at 2:00 ET and Saturday's doubleheader will begin at 12:00 ET.
