Coming off a 3-game win streak Cleveland State baseball (3-2) would eventually lose to host Georgia Highlands 7-1 on Tuesday February 15 as key hits would elude the Cougars during the course of the game.

Jaylon Jones had two of the Cougars five hits followed by Jacob Robinson, Bryce Burkey and Rhett Hammontree who each had one hit.  Brandon LeJeune scored the lone Cleveland State run in the 4th inning.

Starting pitcher Owen Clark went three-innings, striking out four.  Clark was followed in the 9-inning contest by six other Cougar pitchers.

Friday and Saturday, February 18 and 19, Coach Policastro takes his Cougar baseball team to Millington TN, to play four different teams in back to back games each day.  Friday's contests are against Iowa Central Community College and Heartland Community College while on Saturday Cleveland state faces off against SW Illinois Community College and Ellsworth Community College.
