Bubba Trammell was first drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 16th Round of the 1992 MLB Draft, but elected to play two seasons at the University of Tennessee. He was then drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 11th Round of the 1994 MLB Draft. He went on to play Minor League Baseball for 8 seasons, posting a batting average of .287 with 383 RBI, 328 runs scored and 109 home runs. He then played in the MLB for the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets, San Diego Padres and New York Yankees, batting .261 with 285 RBI, 243 runs scored and 82 home runs.
