Scott Bell played Baseball for the Cougars from 1976-1977. During his time at Cleveland State, he accomplished the following:

• Named All-State in 1977
• Tossed a no-hitter in 1976
• Member of the 1977 Region Runner-Up Team that finished ninth nationally

After playing at Cleveland State, Bell played two years for the University of Georgia. He was also drafted in the first round of the MLB Draft by the Boston Red Sox.
