The Cougars meet eighth-seeded Roane State in the championship game at 4:00 ET today with a automatic bid to the NJCAA National Tournament on the line.
Cleveland State played the Raiders twice during the regular season they were 1-1 against them, winning 67-65 on Jan. 19th at home and falling 82-77 in Harriman on Feb. 16.
Roane State has had a big postseason so far, winning against #9 Volunteer State in the first round, knocking off #1 Walters State in the quarterfinals, and beating #4 Dyersburg State in the semifinals last night.
If the Cougars win tonight, they will receive a berth into the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Ks. on March 18-23.
