Men's Basketball Signs Transfer

Men's Basketball continued to build their 2019-2020 roster on Saturday.

The Cougars signed transfer Jakobey Hitchens, a 6'5" scoring guard/forward combo, to the team. Hitchens comes to Cleveland State from LSU-Eunice, a NJCAA Region XXIII school located in Eunice, La. just west of Baton Rouge.

"Jakobey brings good size at the guard position as well as athleticism," said head coach Lee Cigliano. "I believe he will be able to guard a couple of positions defensively for us. He has the ability to score with three-point range and he can get to the basket. We are looking forward to having him for his sophomore season. I think he fits what we do."
