Cougs, Tigers Play to Dramatic Finish

Men's Basketball suffered a heartbreaking loss at Chattanooga State on Wednesday, falling 80-75 to the Tigers.

Cleveland State led by 10 points at the half and led by as many as 13 in the game early into the second half. However, the Tigers stormed back to reclaim the lead and were able to maintain it despite drama late.

Jakobey Hitchens had a team-high 21 points while also grabbing three boards and posting two assists and two steals. Demonte Person, who also reached double-figures with 15 points, had a team-leading four assists along with seven rebounds and a steal. Jon Morgan was the final Cougar to reach double-figures, scoring 14 points, along with six rebounds, two steals, and two blocks, while Jager Dickson led the team with nine rebounds. 

Cleveland State will be will be back in action on Saturday, as they host Dyersburg State on their Sophomore Night. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 ET.
