Cougars Take Down Conference Leading Motlow State

The Cougars went to the conference leader's court and walked out with a win.

Cleveland State (8-5, 4-2) put together a 50-point second half after being down ten at halftime in route to a comeback victory at Motlow State (10-9, 5-2).

Caleb Chapman led the team in scoring with 19 points to go along with eight rebounds. Hasani Rivera was the Cougars second leading scorer tallying a double-double with 15 points and 10 boards.

Cleveland State put together a balanced offensive attack with four different players scoring in double figures with two others putting in nine each. The Cougars brought down 50 rebounds collectively, ten more than their season average per game.

Cleveland State looks to ride their three-game winning streak momentum into their next game when they host Columbia State (14-5, 4-3) this Saturday. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
