The Cougars (13-12, 9-9) beat the Eagles (2-23, 1-17) for the second time in the last two weeks, this time winning 68-57 and ending their regular season schedule.

Duvall Price scored a game high 24 points. Kameron Clark also put-up double figures with 17 points while Caleb Chapman had a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Antonio Gause put in 22 for Dyersburg State, but he was the only Eagle to score in double figures.

Overall Cleveland State shot 48 percent from the field holding Dyersburg to 34 percent shooting. This was the first game the Cougars were able to win minus their two top scorers Julius King, Jr., and Thaddeus Johnson since their recent injuries.

Next up is the conference playoff tournament at Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma, TN. Cleveland State is the sixth seed overall and is slated to play a second-round matchup against the third seed Chattanooga State (20-7, 13-5), a team they have lost to in each of their matchups this season. Tip-off is scheduled for this Saturday, March 9 at 6 p.m.
