Cougars Can't Give Columbia State Their First Loss
The Cougars had the same result as every team that played Columbia State this year. Cleveland State (2-6, 0-5) dropped their home game against the undefeated Chargers (10-0, 5-0) this evening losing 75-54.

Cleveland State (2-6, 0-5) dropped their home game against the undefeated Chargers (10-0, 5-0) this evening losing 75-54.
As a team the Chargers shot about 10 percent better from the field. Taveon Comage scored a team high 14 points and Mahki Wright put in 13. No other players scored in double figures, but 16 players got minutes with all but three scoring.
Jeremiah Hayes and Landen Paquette each led Cleveland State with 14 points as the only two Cougars scoring in double figures. Hayes also finished with a game high seven rebounds.
Next up for Cleveland State is a non-conference home game against Southern Crescent Technical College. Tip-off is scheduled for this Tuesday, November 26 at 7:30 p.m.
