Tuesday November 26 turned out to be a good home night for Cougar basketball. Down 31-26 at the half the Cleveland State men came roaring back in the second half to score 42 points vs Southern Crescent Technical College to win 68-56.

"I thought the guys played hard and played together," head coach Rafael Howard said. "We're a young group still learning to play the right way."

"We battled well on the glass, but we've got to take care of the ball better," Howard said. "I challenged the guys at half time and I thought we came out with good energy and effort in the second half."
Jeremiah Hayes was Mr. Everything for the Cougars leading the team in points scored with 21,
rebounds with eight and assists with four.
Three other players scored in double figures, Landen Paquette tossed in 13, Carson Boyle scored 11 while Ashton Munson had 10. Cleveland State was
the aggressor on the game as they out rebound Crescent 48-28.
With an overall record of 3-6 The Cougars are set to hit the road on Wednesday December 4 to play Motlow State in a conference game. Motlow has a season record of 1-8 and conference mark of 1-4.
