Cougars Start New Year with a Win
Cleveland State took down Bryan College's junior varsity team tonight to start off the new year. The Cougars (4-9, 0-7) picked up an 80-68 home victory after being off for winter break the last few weeks.

Jeremiah Hayes led all scorers with 25 points. He also added seven rebounds and three assists to his stat sheet.
Josiah Marsh was the Cougars second leading scorer with 15 points while Landen Paquette and Joshua Brown each finished with 10.
The win snapped the Cougars three game losing streak. The two teams will meet again on January 18 at Bryan College.
Next up for Cleveland State is a conference road trip to Roane State (8-4, 4-2) on Wednesday, January 8 with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m. It will be the first of two meetings between the teams with the Cougars looking to pick up their first road win on the season.
