The Cougars (4-10, 0-7) played at Roane State losing 77-59.
One bright spot was the team's leading scorer Jeremiah Hayes who put in 21 points with five rebounds and four assists. He was the only Cougar to score in double figures on the night.
Four of the Raiders starters put in double figures with Walter Campbell scoring a game high 23 points and Marcus Black finishing with a 17 point and 10 rebound double-double.
Cleveland State hosts Pellissippi State (8-8, 2-4) in their next game this Wednesday, January 15 at 7:30 p.m.
