Cleveland State is still searching for their first conference win. This time the Cougars (4-11, 0-8) lost at home to Pellissippi State (9-8, 3-4) 77-60.

This time the Cougars (4-11, 0-8) lost at home to Pellissippi State (9-8, 3-4) 77-60.
The Panthers were able to get to the basket helping them shoot 50 percent from the field while Cleveland put in 37.3 percent of their shots on the night.
Pellissippi also put pressure on the Cougars causing 20 turnovers that led to 15 points for the Panthers.
Jeremiah Hayes was a bright spot for Cleveland State scoring 20 points. Landen Paquette was the only other Cougar to reach double figures in scoring finishing with 12.
The Panthers had four players finish with double digits in scoring with Rodrigue Muntu leading the way with 20 points.
Cleveland State travels to Bryan College to play this Saturday, a team they beat on January 3 80-68. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
