Golf Places 5th at Bryan College Invitational

Men's Golf had a strong showing in their first tournament of the fall, placing fifth overall of nine teams at the Bryan College Invitational at Bear Trace Cumberland Mountain in Crossville, Tenn.

Wes Spillers was Cleveland State's top finisher in a field of 64 athletes, finishing tied for tenth at seven over par with scores of 73 and 78. He had a historic day for the Cougars, setting the program record for the lowest two-round score with a mark of 151. His first round score of 73 ties Colbe Cagle for the best individual round score.
