Golf will resume their fall tournament schedule on Monday and Tuesday as they participate in the Chick-Fil-A Collegiate Invitational, which is hosted by Berry College and will take place at Stonebridge Golf Club in Rome, Ga.

The Cougars last competed on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, when they played in the Georgetown Invitational at Cherry Blossom Golf Club in Georgetown, Ky. They placed seventh overall as a team, with Wes Spillers leading the pack, finishing tied for 19th with a score of 151.

Cleveland State participated in this event last season on Oct. 22-23. They finished 19th overall in a large field of schools, with Jared Thomas posting the lowest score for the Cougars. Last year, two other NJCAA schools, Central Alabama and Walters State, participated in a competition that consisted of mainly NCAA Division III schools.

After this tournament, the Cougars will conclude their fall schedule with play at the Eagle Invitational at Nob North Golf Course in Cohutta, Ga. The tournament will take place on Oct. 28-29.
