PREVIEW: Softball Continues Road Trip at Snead

Softball continues road play with a two-game series beginning at 2:00 ET at Snead State on Tuesday. They split a doubleheader 1-1 with Roane State on Monday.

Snead State is 9-18 this season and they have lost their last six games. They are a member of the Alabama Community College Conference and reside in Boaz, Ala. just south of Huntsville. The Lady Cougars were 1-1 against the Lady Parsons, winning the first game 9-4 and losing the second 5-2 in a two-game set on Feb. 27, 2018.

The Parsons top two threats offensively come in the form of Hannah Prichett and Gracie Martin. Prichett is batting .434 with 12 RBI and Martin is batting .410 with 26 RBI, good for fifth in the ACCC. Snead as a team is fourth overall out of 17 teams in batting average.

The Lady Cougars will pick up from their series with Roane and continue conference play at home on Friday and Saturday with a series with Motlow State. Friday's doubleheader starts at 2:00 ET and Saturday's will start at 12:00 ET.

March 11 at Roane State, 1-1

March 2 vs. Jackson State,  1-1

February 26 vs. Young Harris, 1-1

 

NEXT THREE SERIES:

March 15 & 16 vs. Motlow State, 3/15 DH beginning at 2:00 ET, 3/16 DH beginning at 12:00 ET

March 20 vs. West Georgia Tech, DH beginning at 2:00 ET

March 22 & 23 vs. Chatt State, 3/22 DH beginning at 2:00 ET, 3/23 DH beginning at 12:00 ET
