Softball split their two games with Chattanooga State on Saturday.
In the first game, Cleveland State won 6-2. Aubrie Bowman drove in two of the runs with a home run and the Lady Cougars had six hits overall. Kaitlyn Pickens was dominate on the mound and struck out nine batters as she earned the win.
In the second, Cleveland State lost 8-2. The Lady Cougars could only muster three total hits in the contest.
The doubleheader split set the series in favor of the Lady Tigers 1-3. The Lady Cougars now sit at 11-12 overall and 4-8 in conference play.
Cleveland State will play again next weekend as they travel to Columbia, Tenn. to face Columbia State. They will play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 5:00 ET and then a doubleheader on Saturday that will start at 1:00 ET.
