The Lady Cougar Softball team signed Walker Valley High School's Abbey Davis to their 2020 roster on Thursday.
"We are so excited to have Abbey a part of our Cougar family," head coach Katie Willingham said. "She is a tremendous athlete who has excelled at multiple sports at Walker Valley. Playing at Cleveland State is a family tradition for Abbey and she's continuing that legacy. Having local student athletes on our team is always plus. They bring a great support system and I know the Davis family is just that. I am looking forward to seeing the great competitive fire and drive that Abbey will bring to the program."
The Lady Cougs will enter postseason play at the TCCAA Tournament on May 5-11.
