Softball takes a three-game winning streak into the TCCAA Tournament on Sunday. They will open postseason play at 1:30 ET on Sunday in a play-in game against Southwest Tennessee.

The Lady Cougars, who completed the regular season with a 22-20 record and a 13-16 conference mark, are coming off of a fantastic series in which they took three-of-four in Dyersburg, Tenn. on April 27 and 28. Cleveland State also is 2-0 against the Lady Saluqis this year, sweeping the rain-marred series at home on April 18.

The Lady Cougars will hope that Emily Yell will continue to get on base and Aubrie Bowman will continue to drive her in. In the Dyersburg series, Yell was 9-for-15 with an RBI while Bowman was 7-for-7 with eight RBI and two home runs. Cleveland State will also continue to rely upon Kaitlyn Pickens on the mound. She is first in the TCCAA with 157 strikeouts, second in the TCCAA with a 2.17 ERA, and third in wins with 14.
