After winning their play-in game on Sunday, softball will face #2 Walters State at 1:30 ET on Monday.
Both teams have put together nice winning streaks to end the season. The Lady Cougars defeated #10 Southwest Tennessee 8-0 in the win-or-go-home matchup to extend their string of wins to four games, while Walters State last swept a four-game series with Motlow State on April 27 and 28 to secure a seven-game winning streak.
The Lady Cougars won two-of-three in their matchup with the Lady Senators back on April 6 and 7 and will hope to repeat their fortunes to continue on in the winner's bracket.
