Softball hopes to continue to fight off elimination on Wednesday as they take another crack at #2 Walters State at 1:30 ET.
The Lady Cougars lost a narrow 3-1 game to the Lady Senators on Monday, but have since won two straight elimination games against #6 Columbia State and #4 Motlow State to advance to the semifinals of the TCCAAs. Walters State lost 7-5 on Tuesday afternoon to Volunteer State to enter into the elimination bracket. In the regular season, Cleveland State had the upper hand, winning two games to Walters State's one victory in a series on April 6 and 7.
The winner of this game will advance to face either Chattanooga State or Volunteer State at 4:00 ET later on Wednesday.
