After a delay in action due to rain, Softball will travel to Hanceville, Ala. to square off with both Wallace State and Itawamba in a two-game road set. Their game with the Lady Lions of Wallace State is set for 2:30 ET, while their game with the Lady Indians of Itawamba is scheduled for 5:00 ET.
The Lady Cougars most recently played last Saturday, when they split a two-game set with Gordon State. Rain and snow have played a huge factor in their schedule, postponing or cancelling six of their scheduled contests. The Lady Lions have started their season 6-4 and have won their last three games, including their most recent vs. Jones College. The Lady Indians have started their 2020 campaign 5-1 and last played on February 14, when they swept Marion Military College.
Cleveland State did not face either of these schools in 2019. They last faced Wallace State in 2011, falling 4-0 to the Lady Lions. Since 2010, the Lady Cougars have not faced Itawamba.
After this game, Cleveland State will travel to Georgia Highlands for a doubleheader on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 2:00 ET.
