The Cougars want to snap their three-game losing streak.
Today Cleveland State (6-9, 4-6) goes to Volunteer State (3-20, 2-10) looking for the series sweep.
The two teams met back on December 2 at Cleveland State with the Cougars walking out of their home court with a dominating 67-43 victory.
In that game Jordan McCullough scored a game high 26 points. Cleveland State dominated the glass out rebounding the Pioneers by 19 boards and ran the court well with 22 fast break points.
McCullough, Derriona Salter and Latisha Parris are each averaging double figures in scoring for the Cougars on the season.
Volunteer State's Kyra Shearon is the team's leading scorer and their only player averaging double digits in scoring. Shearon is a sharp-shooter from behind the three-point line and is currently second in the conference in three-point shooting percentage at 48.3 per game.
