Volleyball faces a tough road test on Tuesday evening as they travel to Hanceville, Ala. to face the Lady Lions of Wallace State Community College, who are ranked 14th overall in the NJCAA Division I poll. The match time is set for 7:00 ET.

The Lady Cougars (2-6) will need to gain some momentum, as they have dropped their last two matches, including falling at home on Friday vs. Reinhardt JV in five sets. They last faced Wallace State in their home opener on Aug. 22, where they fell 3-0. The Lady Lions have yet to lose a match, going a perfect 12-0 and sweeping all of their matches 3-0.

Cleveland State will hope Celie Patterson and Katlyn Knight will put up similar numbers to last match against Reinhardt JV. Both Patterson and Knight each almost broke Lady Cougar volleyball records on Friday night. Patterson now ranks second all-time in single-match assists with her 45 and Knight is now tied for second all-time in digs in a match with Caylea Duckett after falling just one dig short of tying the all-time record of 25.

After this match, the Lady Cougars will return home to face Snead State on Thursday. Match time is set for 7:00 ET.
