Volleyball will return home on Thursday night to face Snead State after brief road trip. Match time is set for 7:00 ET.
The Lady Cougars (2-7) fell 3-0 against 14th ranked Wallace State on Tuesday evening. They will look to regain momentum after dropping their last three matches. They faced Snead State earlier this season on Aug. 27, falling 3-0 in Boaz.
The Lady Parsons of Snead State are 8-5 so far this year. They won six straight after dropping their first match of their season, but have fallen into a little bit of an inconsistent spell, suffering losses in four of their last six matches. They lost their last match at Gadsden State 3-0.
The Lady Cougars have had a tough schedule out of the gate, but have been stacking up well stat-wise compared to their TCCAA foes. Aly Grace Lemons is ranked fourth in both kills and total points in the conference, with Stephanie Burke holding up the fifth spot in total points directly behind her. Rileigh Barbour is tied for second in the conference in total service aces. Celie Patterson, Sydney Allen, and Loryn Wilson are ranked third, fourth, and fifth in the TCCAA in assists, respectively, while Madeline Dasher is also ranked fifth in total blocks.
After this matchup, the Lady Cougars will travel to Walters State for their first conference match up the year. The match is set for 6:00 ET on Tuesday.
