Volleyball won big over Covenant College JV on Monday evening, winning 3-0 over the Lady Scots.The scores of each set showcased the dominate performance that the Lady Cougars had. Cleveland State won them 25-9, 25-13, and 25-15.
The service game was exceptionally strong tonight for the Lady Cougars. Madeline Dasher led the way with a career-high six service aces and also posted four straight serve aces in the third frame to help Cleveland State go on 7-1 to open the set and close out the game. Both Katlyn Knight and Sydney Allen also recorded a career-high of four service aces each.
Allen set up the Lady Cougars to score points, recording 26 assists, which led all players. Aly Grace Lemons recorded six kills to lead Cleveland State, while Lydia Martin posted the most digs with 19.
The Lady Cougars will next travel to Waleska, Ga. to square off with Reinhardt JV. Match time is set for 7:00 ET on Wednesday.
