Volleyball will travel to Richlands, Va. on Saturday to participate in a tri-match with Central Carolina Community College and the host school Southwest Virginia Community College. Match times are set for 1:00 and 3:00 ET.
The Lady Cougars have been in a good groove of late. They have won their last three matches, including their most recent one on the road at Reinhardt JV on Wednesday 3-1. This is the first time that Cleveland State will play both teams participating in the tri-match in program history.
The Lady Cougars of Central Carolina have struggled to this point of the season. They are 2-12 and have lost five of their last six matches. They last played on Tuesday, winning 3-2 over Rockingham County.
The Lady Flying Eagles of Southwest Virginia have also struggled so far, posting a 3-8 record to this point of the season. They have recorded two of their wins in their last four games and won their last match with Davidson County on Sept. 26 3-0.
After these matches, Cleveland State will return home for a crucial TCCAA matchup with Walters State on Monday. Match time is set for 6:00 ET.
