Volleyball will look to bounce back from a tough loss against Walters State on Tuesday night as they welcome Johnson University to their home floor. Match time is set for 7:00 ET.
The Lady Cougars (8-11, 1-2 TCCAA) went on a five-game winning streak before falling to the Lady Senators 3-1 in their last match. The Lady Royals have won seven of their last eight matches, including winning all three games against UC Clermont, Boyce, and Hocking in the UC Clermont tournament on October 5. Cleveland State previously fell to Johnson 3-0 on Sept. 5 in Knoxville, Tenn.
The Lady Cougars will welcome Ariana Smith back to campus. Smith graduated from the Cleveland State Volleyball program in 2018 and had a decorated career for the Lady Cougars, holding multiple records. She is currently second on Johnson's team with seven blocks and third in kills per set and digs per set.
After this match, the Lady Cougars will travel to the Wallace State Fall Bash in Hanceville, Ala., a tournament which will be held on Friday and Saturday. The first of their four matches this weekend will start at 4:00 ET against Spartanburg Methodist.
