#2 Volleyball looks to secure their first Region VII title on Saturday afternoon as they face first-seeded Walters State at 1:00 ET at Chattanooga State. The TCCAA will also announce their All-Conference Team award winners in a special ceremony prior to the match at 12:45 ET.
The Lady Cougars advanced to the championship round of the region tournament last night after they defeated #3 Chattanooga State 3-1. The 3-1 victory secured a 4-0 season sweep over the Lady Tigers for Cleveland State. The Lady Cougars have also have the confidence of winning three of their last four coming into this game.
Walters State is 19-7 this season and is 4-0 in the TCCAA. They have won three straight matches, including their last match on Monday against Montreat, which they won 3-0. The Lady Senators and Lady Cougars last collided on Oct. 8 in Cleveland, when Cleveland State suffered a 3-1 defeat.
