Cougar Volleyball started the 2022 season with a three-set win over Andrew College at the Cougar Classic Tournament hosted by Cleveland State on Friday August 19.
With set scores of 25-13, 25-16 and 25-18, Coach Atnip's team of Cougars used all aspects of volleyball skill to win their first match of the two-day Round Robbin schedule.
Cougar Classic statistics for Cleveland State will be noted at the completion of the three-match schedule.
The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday, August 20 in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the campus of Cleveland State. Scheduled at 12 noon, the Cougars will play USC Union and then conclude the Classic at 4 p.m. with a match vs Southwest Virginia.
Admission for Saturday's schedule will be $5 per person. Admission is free for Cleveland State students.
