The Cleveland State Cross Country teams will travel to NCAA Division III Maryville College in Maryville, Tenn. on Friday. The races will get underway at 4:30 ET.

The Cougars and Lady Cougars had a strong showing in their last race at the UTC Twilight Meet on Sept. 13. The men placed fifth overall and Derek Gallardo was their top finisher, placing 11th in a competitive field. The women all raced well, with Angie Torres leading the way again. 

The Cougars were also named the 14th ranked NJCAA in the country on Sept. 18. They will hope to improve that ranking Friday evening as they race against some stiff competition.

After this race, both teams will travel to Rome, Ga. on Oct. 19 to compete in the Berry College Invitational. The competition will get underway at 9:00 ET.
