Baseball looks to win their fourth straight game to open the season as they host Vincennes on Sunday and Monday. First pitch of Sunday's doubleheader is slated for 12:00 ET, while Monday's single-game will get underway at 12:30 ET.
The Cougars last played on Feb. 1 and 2, when they swept Southwest Virginia in a three-game series at home. They dominated in all aspects of the game, but especially on offense, as they exploded for 14, 15, and 12 runs in those three games.
These games will be the first of the season for the Trailblazers. The two teams met last season, with Cleveland State winning both games against Vincennes and outscoring the Trailblazers 15-1 on Feb. 16, 2019. The third game, scheduled for Feb. 17, 2019, was cancelled due to weather.
After this series, the Cougars will travel to Calhoun for one game against the Warhawks. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 ET.
