Women's Basketball travels to Volunteer State in Gallatin, Tenn. for their first conference matchup of the season. Tip-off is set for 3:00 ET on Saturday.
The Lady Cougars (1-3) hope to get back on track against the Lady Pioneers. They suffered a heartbreaking 72-69 defeat at Snead State on Tuesday in their last game. Vol State has had a rough start to their season, losing all four of their first games, including their last at Wallace State on Saturday by a final score of 76-54.
Cleveland State has dominated Volunteer State in recent history. The Lady Cougars have won 11 of 17 matchups dating back to 2010, including their last four against the Lady Pioneers. Cleveland State swept the season series last season, winning 59-54 at home on Dec. 8 and 59-57 on the road on Feb. 2.
After this game, the Lady Cougars will end their road trip with a game at Roane State. Gametime is set for 5:30 ET.
