Women's Basketball rounds out their road trip on Wednesday evening, travelling to Harriman, Tenn. for a TCCAA matchup with Roane State. Tip-off is set for 5:30 ET.

The Lady Cougars (2-3, 1-0 TCCAA) earned their first conference win in their last game on Saturday, defeating Volunteer State 80-56 in Gallatin, Tenn. The Lady Raiders (2-3, 1-1 TCCAA) suffered a loss in their last game, falling 87-74 to Jackson State on Saturday. 

The series between these two teams has been tight since 2011. Cleveland State holds a 9-8 edge over Roane State, but have fallen in three of the last four games against the Lady Raiders, including suffering a series sweep last season.

The Lady Cougars hope to continue to rely upon the strong play of Britnay Gore on both ends of the court. Gore, who is the reigning TCCAA Player of the Week, scored 26 points and grabbed 15 boards in Saturday's win, which both led all scorers. She also scored 20 points and snatched 13 rebounds in Tuesday's loss at Snead State.

After this matchup, Cleveland State will return home Saturday to host Southwest Tennessee. Tip-off is set for 2:00 ET.
