PREVIEW: Two Conference Play Undefeateds Clash In Morristown Wednesday

Women's Basketball hits the road again on Wednesday to take on Walters State in Morristown, Tenn. in a TCCAA matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 ET.

The Lady Cougars (4-4) are in the midst of a strong stretch of play, winning three of their last four games. They are currently 3-0 in the conference after defeating Volunteer State, Roane State, and Southwest Tennessee. The Lady Senators (5-4) are also undefeated in the conference, sitting at 4-0 in the TCCAA, but are also currently in the midst of a two-game losing streak.

The play of Britnay Gore has been a bright spot for Cleveland State. She has posted a double-double in six of the teams eight games so far this season, averaging 16.4 points per game and 11.4 rebounds per game, which ties her for second-most in the TCCAA. She is also in the top two on the team in both categories.

After this game, the Lady Cougars will return home to host Jackson State on Saturday in what will be their last home game of 2019. The collision between two TCCAA teams will begin at 2:00 ET.
