PREVIEW: Lady Cougs Travel to Gadsden With Winning Streak

Women's Basketball carries a two-game winning streak into their final game of 2019 as they travel to Gadsden, Ala. on Saturday to square off with Gadsden State. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 ET.

The Lady Cougars (6-5, 4-1 TCCAA) have been on fire of late, winning five of their last seven contests. They had a dominant road win in their last game on Wednesday, defeating Covenant College JV 96-29. Gadsden State sits at 6-6 on their season and have had some challenges of late, losing five of their last six games. They last played on Thursday at home against Enterprise, where they won 101-66.

Since 2016, Cleveland State holds in the edge in the series with the Lady Cardinals. They are 3-1 against Gadsden State in that time period and won 84-72 when the two teams last met in Cleveland on Jan. 16, 2018.

The Lady Cougars next game will take place on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, as they welcome these Lady Cardinals to their home court. Tip-off is set for 2:00 ET.
