PREVIEW: Lady Cougs to Play Face Huge Matchup Wednesday

A big collision will take place in Cleveland, Tenn. on Wednesday night as Women's Basketball hosts Walters State on Wednesday evening. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 ET.

The matchup is crucial to the conference standings, as the Lady Cougars trail Walters State by just a game to move into first place in the TCCAA. Cleveland State has won four straight games, including their last on Saturday at Southwest Tennessee 81-66 to move to 14-6 overall and 10-2 in conference play. The Lady Senators are 14-9 overall and 11-2 in the TCCAA and 2-2 in their last four games. They won 85-79 over Dyersburg State on Saturday.

The two teams meet earlier in the season, with the Lady Cougars facing a close call and suffering a 74-71 loss in overtime back on Dec. 4. 

After this game, Cleveland State will travel to Jackson State on Saturday. Gametime is set for 3:00 ET.
