Women's Basketball will play their regular season finale at home on Saturday as they host Dyersburg State. It will also be Sophomore Day, with the Lady Cougars honoring sophomores Britnay Gore, Charisma Barner, and Za'kkria Robinson. The game is set to tip-off at 2:00 ET, with the Sophomore Day festivities just prior. There will also be a special ceremony to honor Hall of Fame Lady Cougar Liz Hannah Jackson at halftime of the matchup. Read all about the ceremony at this link.

The Lady Cougars were last in action on Wednesday, when their dramatic comeback at Chattanooga State fell just short in a 66-64 final. The loss brought their record to 15-10 overall and 11-6 in the TCCAA, placing them in fourth overall. Dyersburg State sits just ahead of the Lady Cougars in the standings, seeded third, with a 22-6 overall record and a 12-5 record in the conference. They last played on Wednesday, when they defeated Jackson State 82-73.

These two teams met earlier in the year, with Cleveland State securing a huge 59-57 road win back on January 18. History is also in the Lady Cougars favor, as they hold a 25-4 edge over the Lady Eagles since 2001.

After this matchup, the Lady Cougars will travel to Columbia State to take on the TCCAA Tournament. The tournament runs from Friday, Feb. 28 to Tuesday, Mar. 3. Stay tuned to cscougars.com for updates on who Cleveland State will face and when they will get their postseason started.
