#3 Women's Basketball continues their TCCAA Tournament run in Columbia, Tenn. on Monday as they face #2 Chattanooga State in the semifinal round. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:00 ET.
The Lady Cougars were in action last night when they defeated #6 Southwest Tennessee in the quarterfinal round of the TCCAA Tournament. The Lady Tigers also played yesterday evening, defeating #7 Motlow State.
The last time these two teams met, Cleveland State suffered a 66-64 loss in what was a highly contested, dramatically-finished game. Both teams come into this game on winning streaks, with the Lady Cougars winning their last two, including a huge game over #4 Dyersburg State in overtime, and the Lady Tigers winning 13 straight.
If Cleveland State wins tonight, they would advance to the TCCAA Championship to face either #1 Walters State or #4 Dyersburg State. The championship game is scheduled for 5:00 ET on Tuesday.
